What to confirm with a Georgian university before you apply (2026 checklist)
Fees, intakes and requirements can change. The directory we use to compare universities (checked 2 October 2026) recommends confirming the points below with the university before you pay or submit anything.
- Confirm that the program you want is currently accepting international students.
- Confirm the exact intake (start date) and the application deadline.
- Get the final tuition invoice in writing, with the currency and what it includes.
- Ask whether there is an application or registration fee, and whether it is refundable.
- Check the English-language requirement (certificate or interview).
- Ask how your previous education documents are recognized and what the process is.
- If you apply through an agency, check the university's own rules for agency applications.
